Neymar is Out of the World Cup Because of Back Injury!

Brazilian football star Neymar will not be able to play the next games of the FIFA World Cup 2014 because of the back injury. Brazilian  team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar said that Neymar suffered a fracture in the thrid vertebra of his back during the quarter final against Colombia which Brazil own by 2-1.

After the match, the big joy of that 2-1 win was bit fade because of the serious injury of Neymar and also Thiago Silva will not be able to play on the Semi Final against Germany becasuse he got a yellow card on this match (quarter final).

The 22-year-old striker of Brazil football team was in tears after taking a knee to the back from Juan Zuniga from Colombo team, with Brazil doctor Rodrigo Lasmar confirming he has sustained a fractured vertebra that will end his World Cup.

“It’s not serious in the sense that it doesn’t need surgery, but he’ll need to immobilize it to recover,” Lasmar said. “Unfortunately, he’s not going to be able to play.”

Lasmar expects the recovery time to be at least a few weeks, ruling Neymar out of Tuesday’s semi-final against Germany and the final, should Brazil get there, on 13 July.

The forward was seen leaving the Estadio Castelao on a drip and, after initial analysis at the stadium, was taken to a local clinic.

While carrying out of the stadium, Neymar was in tears and his absence will be a huge blog to the whole Brazil team and for the fans it is more disappointing to not have their star on the field.
