Suppose you want to transfer some programs like Adobe CS6, iTunes, Microsoft Office 2010 to a new computer which is having Windows 7 from your current computer which runs in XP. So, how you are going to do it? I think you will do it with USB. Like you will copy the software of all those programs in a USB and then you will again install it in your new computer. Procedure to Transfer Previously Installed Program from Old Computer to New Computer:
1. You will have to download and install Todo PCTrans Pro on your old and new computer. Then run the installed program in both the old and new one. After running, the program will show the detected PC and you can choose your desirable one. Note: While doing the transfer you will have to put the two PC one the same LAN.
2. If the program does not detect your computer automatically, you will have to click on the + sign and just write the IP address of the target PC like the below image:
3. Now you will have to choose all the software that you want to transfer to your new computer. For this, after selecting the movement direction, the interface will show the numbers, size of all data and software. If you click “Edit”, it will show you all applications and now you will have to select what you want to transfer.
NOTE: Todo PCTrans Free only supports two applications to get transferred. But if you want to transfer more than two applications from one pc to another, it is strongly recommended that you upgrade to Todo PCTrans Pro. This is very cheap and affordable!
4. After adding all your necessary applications, when you click on “Transfer” tab, it will start transferring all your applications and you do not need to keep an eye on that. All the applications will get transferred to the C drive of your new computer. That’s it!
