Can you imagine, 93 Million selfies are taken everyday! Yeah, this is right. This information is been presented by the Android Director today.
So, if the number for the selfie is like 93 million then you can imagine how many pictures are taken by us on each and every day. To store all these pictures you need a mega storage and Google was up to that and Google is now giving you a mega store to keep all your pictures safe. They are calling it Google Photos. The new app by Google is open from today 28th May, 2015 for all the Android, iOS and Windows users.
You can download this app from Google play from this link or you can also use it for your iOS device in your Apple phone or iPad. You can download it for free from Apple store.
The features in Google Photos are really cool. I am going to mention some of the cool features of Google Photos app below:
1. Store Pictures with a Single Click: By Installing this app you will be able to store all your pictures in your phone or device inside this app just by a single click.
2. View Pictures By Date, Month or Year: You have the option to view your pictures by Date, Month or by Year. So, if you are looking for a picture from a particular month, you can easily find it from your thousand pictures as the pictures are categorized.
3. Search a Particular Type of Picture: The coolest thing in this app is, the app is using face recognition technology through which you will be able to search for a particular type of picture. Like if you want to search for a flower picture, if you search with flower then all your pictures including flower will come up and you can select your desired one. Like I wanted to find a picture of road, so I searched with Road and got the below pictures from my Google Photos.
4. Edit Picture with a lot of Options: Another cool feature is the Editing option of the App. Instagram users know about this because before that Instagram was having the best Editing facility. But now using Google Photos, you can edit your picture and customize it with more options.
5. Create Video or Album with Pictures: You can also create video or create album just by selecting your pictures. Select more than one pictures and you will be able to create a cool video with all your pictures just withing a few seconds.
