- Open the iTunes media player.
- Click the Help menu.
- Select Check for Updates option.
Delete Dupes

- Select the playlist you’d like to check for dupes.
- Click the View menu.
- Select Show duplicate items.

- Press the Alt key to show menu bar.
- Click the Edit menu.
- Choose Preferences.
- In the new dialog, click Store tab.
- Uncheck the box named Automatically download album artwork.
- Click OK.
