Neighbors WiFi Network:-

If you are living in a metro, this is quite normal that you can see a lot of other WiFi network which are your neighbors network. This is quite possible that they are transmitting the signal over the same channel and same frequency (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) if the provider is same. Even possible with different provider. To change the channel for your WiFi router, please login to your router by typing the number 192.168.1.1 in your address bar and then entering the admin and password which can be found on your router. Once you login, please go to settings and then change the channel number. If it is too complicated for your, please call your provider and request to change the transmitting channel for your router.

Location of the Router:-

In most of the cases, this solves the problem of slow WiFi and possible dead zone / black spots in your house. If your WiFi router is placed in a room surrounded by concrete walls, please immediately move it from there and place it in a central location of the house so that it can transmit signal uniformly. If it is not possible to move the router, as the Fibre is terminated in such way, there is other solution and have a look at the solution later.

Object Near the Router:-

If there are objects like Refrigerator, Microwave oven or a fish tank, you need to move the router far from these objects as these objects absorbs a lot of your signal.

How I had Solved My Issue:-

For me the problem was with the location of the router. The Fibre was terminated in a corner of my house so I was not able to move the router in a central location in my house. I am sure this is a problem for a lot of people. So, I had to buy this WiFi extender which had solved my problem.
