There are some of us who just found out that our iPhone 4s was not the latest version, and were considering upgrading. Hold off, there is another iPhone rumored to be on the horizon. The iPhone 6 is creating buzz on the internet as being released in the summer of 2013. If you have not already upgraded your phone, you may want to sit back and wait. There were not many things about the iPhone 5 that created a huge buzz for Apple, leaving many of us wondering if the iPhone 6 will be the new buzz, or a bust.
Matchless Design of iPhone 6 :
The iPhone 6 is rumored to be a newer version of the iPhone 5. The iPhone 5 had a new design from previous versions, but it is speculated that the 6 design will stray from those changes made. There is talk about a new poly-silicon liquid crystal display that will not only be crisper and cleaner, but will use less of the battery to operate. When battery is always a concern, anyway to extend the life of the existing battery is welcomed. A newer sleeker design, it is said that they may expand the viewing screen to make it more enjoyable to view movies and videos. There is also gossip that it will be slimmer and easier to grip onto.
Software Installation :
There have been reports that Apple is testing a new iOS7 operating system. It is a newer, and advanced, version of the iOS 6 operating system. Designed for quicker processing speed, its goal is to decrease the time needed for uploading images, videos and movies. The processing speed is said to be far greater than anything now in existence.
Battery Strength :
When possible, the aim is to increase battery life. Whether the intention is to make the features of the phone, like the LCD screen, less draining, or to actually increase the strength of the battery, remains to be seen.
Technical Features :
One of the biggest advancements being discussed is the potential of having a thumbprint recognition display for the iPhone 6. By using thumbprint detection, the phone can be unlocked without the annoying four digit passcode. It will not change the display of the icons, or the screen in anyway, being designed to be imbedded into the already sleek design. Attempting to attract younger generations, it may also be available in as many as six to eight different colors. Apple is experimenting with more customization to bring their younger consumers back.
Cost of iPhone6 :
It is believed that the cost of the iPhone 6 will not be as high as other newly released versions. Whether it is because people are becoming weary of all the new versions being released and the cost of them, or they are targeting a younger audience, there isn’t anyone who won’t welcome a lower price tag.
Outstanding Camera:
With an outstanding camera already existing on current models, they may just decide to leave the camera alone.
