Though this facility is introduced lately but now you will be able to deposit check with iPhone application in Bank of America.Though the application is not new but it will allow the users to deposit money just by taking the front or back picture of their check.
You just need to simply take a picture of the back or front of the check using the application and send and then your money will get deposited.So, now the bank is trurly mobile.
Though it is more convenient for the customer now to deposit checks with iPhone application in Bank of America, this facility was introduced in USAA bank around three year back.Chase bank also made it available for the users on that same year.
The Bank of America is also planning to develop their person-to-person email and mobile transfer which will allow the users to transfer money from smartphone using just the receivers mobile number or email address.
There are applications which will let you transfer money in this way like Bump Up.But they are using third party like Paypal.
Burke also says the check deposit capability will also be available in your iPad and also in Android phone in near future.
