* To write a new sentence you can speak out a command like “New Sentence” and Dictation will automatically start one new sentence and also the first letter of the new sentence will be capitalized.
* To start a new paragraph, you can speak “New Paragraph” to move the cursor to the next paragraph.
* If you want to stop writing then you need to tell “Stop Writing” and it will automatically interpret your voice.
If you make a mistake or the application makes one mistake then you can manually correct it and the whole notepad is editable as it uses HTML5.
The first time release of Dictation was in the year 2012 and in the month of August. Since then the application has some update in the newer version. The web speech API is now part of Google Chrome though you still have to active network connection for Chrome to connect to the speech recognition software server.
The new version of Dictation software auto-save your work and transfer your work to the chrome local store. So you will be able to continue your new session though you close your browser.
