Great news for the people of Bangladesh! Yes, now online customers from Bangladesh will be able to buy online using their credit cards. Yesterday, 30th May, 2013 Bangladesh Bank, the central bank of Bangladesh legalized this online shopping. In this new rule, a person having one international credit card will be able to shop online using their unused international currency. But some limitation is there. One person will not be able to shop more than 1000 USD per year.

Also in one transaction they will not be able to buy goods which are more than 100 USD. So, if someone is buying something, he or she needs to make sure that the good or commodity price is within 100 USD.

This is bit ridiculous because some attractive technology products price is more than 100 USD and people from Bangladesh will not be able to buy that thing.
But still the facility will be very useful who usually wants to buy some products online from outside the country. Now people will be able to buy software packages, books and other useful things which are not available in Bangladesh or the market price is higher outside.
I welcome this new rule and also think that Bangladesh government and Bangladesh Bank will also withdraw the limitation about the amount. Because the online shopping is very useful and people will face problem while shopping online because they also have their limitations. I think to cope up with the the world online transaction system, Bangladesh bank will withdraw the amount barrier.
