It looks like the IT industry has changed every facet of every other industry in the world. IT companies turned out incredibly successful, since innovation is what drives progress in the world. IT industry has made a long way. When first IT companies appeared nobody really expected that it 25 years they would grow so huge and powerful that they would be even synonymous to tech progress. IT rules the world. And even if you don’t like some companies, you are still forced to use their resources, products and services since they do make your life easier. What companies am I talking about? Let’s see.
Apple
The death of the great Steve Jobs sent shock waves throughout the world. How come, the big Steve is not with us? It is the person who revolutionized the IT industry. It him who made the computer personal. Nobody has ever expected that Apply will from a company of Steve and Woz experimenting in a garage to a many billion corporation with over 4k employees. Google has become synonymous for web search and search engines. If you want to look for information on the net, you google it. Yes, Google has become extremely successful. It monopolized web advertising market. Besides, the company works in a variety of different areas – Android OS, production of smartphones in partnership with Asus, LG and Motorola. As for the latter, Google bought out Motorola, which is a Google company now. Probably you have seen Google Glass and Google’s self-driven cars. Looks amazing, huh? I am sure Google won’t stop here. The company invests billion of dollars in R&D and innovation, so we’ll soon see something really impressive. I won’t focus on revenue figures for Google – they are stunning. No other web search engine can compete to Google, although Yahoo and Bing try to get a greater market share. Products from Google are always amazing. If you don’t believe it, you can google it.
Microsoft
You may love or hate it, but Microsoft is a great company founded by a genius. Yes, Windows has so many flaws, but show be a better OS with such an intuitive interface! Ubuntu? Linux? Well, try installing these systems on your mother’s and sister’s PC, and see what happens next. They’ll freak out! I can guarantee you that. Microsoft has been selling Windows for many years. Windows 8 is a good OS, although not a huge success. The company earns good money, and its founder Bill Gates spends much for charity and global environmental protection projects.
