Beware! You may well be happily browsing the internet, completely unaware that somebody or something is tracking your every move. Spyware is on the increase and it’s very difficult to tell if your computer is being spied on. The only way to be sure is to have anti-spyware installed on your computer. Good software can identify and remove spyware in a matter of seconds, so there is absolutely no need to remain vulnerable to it. Here are three spyware removal tools that are free to install and that people swear by:
Spybot:
Spybot is free to download and it will notify you of adware, spyware, malicious bots and malware. It will pick it up and destroy it instantly meaning you will never be at risk for more than a few seconds.
Spybot S&D (Search and Destroy) is a brilliant product that is widely used. It’s best used alongside Ad-Aware for best results. To be completely sure you are protected, run a full check on your computer at least once a week. You can use it for free or you can upgrade it just for a little price. But i think in both cases you will be able to ensure the security. If you wish to upgrade then you are most welcome.
Ad-Aware:
Ad-Aware will trawl deep into your system, scanning it for trouble. It’s a free download that you can find anywhere on the internet. It is estimated that over 68 million users across the world are using Ad-Aware – so it must be good! Ad-Aware can run a basic quick scan which you should run once a week. It then offers a deep scan option which takes a little longer but which is much more thorough, and it is recommended that the deep scan is run every couple of weeks.
IE-SPYAD:
This is one of the top 3 spyware software options and is a registry file. As soon as you install it, it will push spyware, advertisers and marketers straight into Internet Explorer’s zone for restricted sites. It’s reliable, fast and free, and is a great option for anybody wanting to stay safe on the internet.
There are plenty of other free downloads that you can get your hands on too – you are not just restricted to these three. If you operate your computer without quality spyware and antivirus software you are asking for trouble. Once anything malicious makes its way onto your computer you are at risk of all sorts of dangers. Once you are finally aware that it is there, it can cost an awful lot of money to remove the problem and to fix the problems it has caused. Any website is able to be hacked so if you have one then it’s really important that you protect it within un-hackable passwords (and never use passwords such as ‘admin’, ‘user’ or ‘administrator’ – these are the first things any hackers will guess!).
There are plenty of people out there who are plotting new ways to infiltrate your computer and steal valuable information. But it is relatively easy to stay one step ahead. Don’t leave yourself open to attack when it is easy and free to get protected. If you are in any doubt then always consult an expert who will be happy to advise you further.
