First of all i want to tell you that i know that you are searching about this topic because you have accidentally erased data from Mac Hard Drive. But do not panic. There is possible way to recover accidentally erased data. Please read below:
Today I helped a customer recover data using Data Rescue 3 for Mac (recover accidentally erased data) after he accidentally erased his Macintosh hard drive volume while troubleshooting issues with his computer. He was having problems with performance, so he wanted to erase the hard drive and then do a clean install of Mac OS X. After the clean install he realized that he had not updated his backup recently and was missing a lot of documents and images from the past few months. After some research he came across Data Rescue 3 – Emergency Hard Drive & File Recovery and contacted us to see if this product would help him get his data back.
I guided him in downloading the free trial version of Data Rescue 3 and explained the steps to recovery. Prosoft Engineering offers a free trial version of Data Rescue 3, so users can try the software first before spending any money. The free trial is the full product (only limited on the actually recovery – allowing recovery of just one file). If indeed the files you are looking to recover are available you can simply purchase and enter a serial number to continue with the recovery of your files.
Next he needed to run the Deep Scan which is the scan you will want to run if you erase an entire drive/volume. He contacted me later in the day when the scan finished running and I explained to him how to find his files in the Reconstructed Files folder of the Scan Results. Since he thrilled to be able to see his files he went ahead and purchased a serial number for Data Rescue 3 and continued to recover the files he found in the scan. He recovered all the files to an external drive and was extremely happy that his recovery attempt was successfully and thankful for the free tech support and assistance to getting started when he was not sure what to do.
Author Bio: Jeremy Aquino has been with Prosoft Engineering as a Technical Support Representative for over a year and it has been a very rewarding job to help customers recover lost data as well as maintain their hard drives and backups. Data Recovery can be difficult and confusing so many of our customers really appreciate having a helping hand throughout the process. Outside of work he enjoys playing basketball, football, hiking, and rock climbing.
If you cannot recover the files using this method then a good thing to do would be to send your hard drive to a hard drive recovery business.
My disk is unreadable on my laptop. How can I fix it? I saw one
application “Remo recover software” on internet. By employing it, I get back my
entire data from external hard drive.
Thanks for any other wonderful post. Where else may just anybody get that type of info in such
an ideal method of writing? I have a presentation next week,
and I’m at the search for such info.
