How to Get Out of These Sponsored Stories?

Though Facebook does not offer you directly any option to get out from this kind of sponsored stories, but by changing your privacy setting in Facebook, you will be able to stop showing your names from the sponsored stories or pages. To do this at first you need to go to your “About Page” on Facebook and then you need to scroll down to the like section.

Edit_Like_Privacy

Now you need to click on the Edit tab (which is like the pen in the above picture) and then you need to click on the “Edit Privacy” option.

Then you will get a screen like below and from that screen you will be able to see two options, one is “Other” and another is “Interests“. You need to change the privacy setting of those options to “Only to Me“. Now save this settings and you are done! Now your name will not be visible with the sponsored ads.

Hope this will help you if you do not want to show your name with the sponsored ads.
