Spread the love

Nowadays, every business has moved to the level of promoting itself more through the media and internet. Internet is considered the best source to bring the business into notice and blogging seems the prime way to that. Blogging has been increasingly growing these days to promote the business. Some people blog just for their time pass or as a hobby to share their thoughts, while others use it for business purposes. If you consider to blog only as a hobby then it is better to do it on any of the free platforms such as Blogger, WordPress, etc. However, if it is for business purposes, which require a lot of attention and time to create a quality post, then consider a platform, which is worth using it.

Mostly people use WordPress and Blogger to share their thoughts, as they have shifted from Facebook and Twitter to consider only one place for writing the posts about their certain thoughts and feelings to be shared with others. However, the biggest reason why you should not start blogging on the free platform is as follows:

Competition:

Competition is the biggest reason, since there are a lot of competitors out there. Thus, you need to make sure before blogging somewhere that people would be more interested in reading your business blog. Such as if you post on Blogger, which is considered as a hobby blog, it will not be taken seriously and people will tend to ignore it easily. In simple words, such logs will not be noticed because these kinds of blogs are not expected on Blogger.

How to start blogging then?

Business Website:

It is better to have a business website and you can post the quality content on the website. It will be considered reliable and informative because of the theme of the business website as well. Everything on the website will be related to the business you are trying to promote and people will be interested in reading such information.

Operate Your Own Blog:

If you have your own blog on the business website, then you can operate it easily without depending on anything else. You can post the blog anytime, without any rules. You will be your own boss and you can communicate any way you want to convey your message to your target audience.

Audience Significance:

Blogging gets popular if more people tend to read it and you can track the website traffic. The more traffic on the site and the more convenience level it provides to the people, the more the visitors will scroll down the website. Thus, you need to make sure that if you create a blog on your own website, the website should run smoothly in order to ensure convenience to the readers.

As of my experience, I have written article for a company using the WordPress and it has not been much popular. I used to write on the social media and gadgets, which people would be interested in reading. However, not a lot of people used to read it and like it via Facebook or share it through the Tweet.

In nutshell, you need to make sure that for business purposes, free platforms must not be used to get started. It takes a little investment to get started and once you are on the right track it gets your way ahead. Since there is a lot of competition in the market nowadays, so it is better to do a little homework before starting a blog on the free platforms like Blogger or WordPress, which attract one very easily and quickly.
