Designed to be the most durable phone on the market, the Regal Titanium boasts its ability to resist dents, twits and being crushed whilst remaining on and working. The phones case is made from a single piece of titanium – each phone takes hours to polish before being allowed to be released and, perhaps most importantly, it is limited to 333 units. The titanium gives the phone a warm feel, thanks to the metals inherent low thermal conductivity.

The phone looks sexy – but under the hood, your iPhone actually smashes it out of the park. For the Gresso Regal Titanium is a phone – not an all singing smartphone. Internet is limited to EDGE speeds, the built in camera is 2 mega pixels and, whilst there is an FM stereo radio, there is no MP3 functionality.

If you are looking for a stylish, but limited handset, the Regal Titanium will set you back around £3,000.

There are a number of options, including the 18ct yellow gold edition, inlaid with a 0.33carat princess cut white diamond which in  is set in the 18ct white gold select key. Each time you call up the menu screen, you’re pressing on diamonds and white gold.

Functionality is as limited as the Regal Titanium – though Vertu does include Bluetooth functionality for hands-free calling….

Found in stores such as Selfridge’s and Harrod’s, Vertu are aiming to attract those with more than spare change in their pockets – unless you count £28,000 as spare change – the cost of the platinum edition.
