Trick to Get Notification from Gmail on Your Desktop for Newly Received Email on Your Desktop:
1. Log in to your Gmail account.
2. Now click on the “Gear” icon on the upper right hand corner of your Gmail interface which is just behind your round shaped picture.
3. Now from the drop down, select “Settings”.
4. On the “General” tab search for the option “Desktop notifications”
5. Now enable the first option “New mail notification on”.
6. Save the setting and you are done!
From now on wards, you will get notification from Gmail when a new email will come to your primary inbox.
