It sometimes happens that you want to email to an old friend or old colleague or and old contact but you do not remember the email address of that person. Then how to get the correct email address of that person? If you are using Gmail and if you had sent one email or have any kind of email correspondence with that person then if you just write the first or last name of that person or just guess one or two letters of that email address then Gmail will show all the probable email address.
But what if you did not have any previous correspondence with that person and this is your first email to that person? This is going to be a bit difficult. Still you may search with their name in the search engine or you can search for their LinkedIn profile or Facebook profile or other social media profile. But this is a bit long term process and it will take time and most of the time may be you are not going to get the right email address.
But there is still one reliable way to get the correct email address or in other sense you have some way to guess the email address correctly.
How to Guess Ones Email Address Correctly:
You can use the LinkedIn’s Rapportive add-on for Gmail to judge whether you are guessing the right person or not. You will be able to download and install it from the link Rapportive. This is a kind of add on for Gmail which searches for the social profiles for that particular person and then tries to give your the right email address for that person.
If there is no social result for that particular email address that you have typed then you need to get the decision that the person does not have any social profile or the email address that you are trying to use is incorrect. But in most of the cases you will be able to guess the right email address.
You can see from the above picture that i have typed two email address in my Gmail “To” tab and for one email address picture is showing. So, you can easily predict that which one is the persons correct email address.
