You will be happy to know that East West University Telecommunications Club(EWUTC) is going to organize TELCO WARFARE 2012 in its own campus from 13th Sept. to 14th Sept. 2012. It’s an inter university event, which includes competition in three major categories; TELE WAR, NET WAR & APPS WAR. Such an event will provide a tremendous opportunity for university level students to participate, compete and interact with students from other prestigious institutions.
In addition, EWUTC will organize a college level quiz competition named Q WAR, to raise the awareness of telecommunication among upcoming university students.
Please note that since April, 2006 EWUTC has been involved in intra university student welfare activities such as seminar, workshop, field trip etc.

TELCO WARFARE 2012 Details:
APPS WAR: Contest on Mobile Applications making. It’s open for only undergraduate students. Participant has to be registered individually. Applications can be made upon any platform, e.g. android, i-phone, Symbian etc. Participants in this category will have to give an individual presentation for maximum five minutes on his/her applications. On the basis of the application and their presentation winner will be selected.
TELE WAR: Quiz competition on Telecommunication. It’s open for only undergraduate students. Participant has to be registered individually. Applicants will have to give an exam of one hour duration with 100 questions (multiple choices).
NET WAR: Networking competition on Packet Tracer software. Contest is open for only undergraduate students. A team can consist of maximum two members. Participants have to solve some problems regarding networking.
Q WAR: College level quiz contest. There will be two rounds. One is preliminary and another is final round. Preliminary round will be a written exam from which five teams will be selected for final round. Final round is instant buzzer round.
