Maybach Exelero- Maybach Exelero is the world’s most expensive car in 2012.It’s a high performance sports car.The car’s design was the result of a competition amongst students at the Pforzheim Polytechnic Department of Transport Design, which has worked on show vehicles for Fulda in the past.The car was first designed by 24 years old Fredrik Burchhardt and that design was coordinated with the Maybach design center in Sindelfingen. A one-off custom-built Maybach was unveiled in May 2005 at the Tempodrom in Berlin. Commissioned by tyre company Fulda, the Exelero is a chopped-down two-seater coupe, though it’s more than just a show car – in tests at the Nardo high-speed oval, the prototype reached a speed of 218.38mph, despite weighing over 2.66 tonnes. It is capable of acceleration from 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds.
Now this car is registered for on-road use.The new Exelero will be limited in number may be only 10 pieces and cost in between $8 to $10 million dollars.

Bugatti Veyron- It is the second expensive car.It was first introduced in 2005 and developed by German manufacturer Volkswagen Group and produced by French Marque Bugatti.The original version has a speed of 408.47km/h (253.81 mph). It was named Car of the Decade by the BBC television program Top Gear. Veyron won Top Gear’s best car driven all year award in 2005. It s price is $2.6 million.
Ferrari 599XX-The 599XX, which inspired the 599 GTO, is an extreme berlinetta designed for track but not official competition use, and is a veritable technological laboratory incorporating a number of innovative solutions.The car was first unveiled at the 2009 Geneva Auto show.Ferrari announced at the 2010 Beijing International Auto Show that the 599 XX had completed the Nordschleife circuit at the Nürburgring in a time of 6 minutes and 58.16 seconds – the fastest time ever recorded for a production-derived sports car. In Ferrari 599XX can accelerate to 60 mph just on 2.9 seconds.Its price is not announced yet but there is a rumored that it will be more than $2 million.
